Terminating Service

Safety is our #1 priority at Hawkins County Gas.  We strive to make our customers feel comfortable and safe at all times.  In the event of an emergency, call our 24-hour emergency line at (423) 272-8841 or (423) 357-8585.  If your call is not answered please dial 911 and report your emergency.

Leaving our Service Area?

Moving to a house that does not currently have natural gas or propane service?

Whatever the reason, we will miss having you as a customer, and hope that you will come back to us as soon as you are able.  So, as you leave us, we want to offer you that same exceptional customer service you have come to expect.

To terminate your gas service, simply contact either of our offices, let us know what weekday date you would like the service to end, and to which address to send the final bill.  We will send someone out to read the meter or propane tank gauge on the day you requested and our office will calculate your final bill, including refunding any deposits.

Please remember that if your new home or business is in our service area and simply does not have natural gas or propane gas service yet, we would love to talk with you about installing new service there and keeping you as a customer.
